Highlights

  • Encounter South Georgia’s staggering king penguin colonies, elephant seal haul-outs, and the resting place of polar legend Sir Ernest Shackleton.
  • Zodiac cruise through iceberg-studded bays of the Antarctic Peninsula famed for its stunning scenery and wildlife spectacles.
  • Enjoy extra time in the Falklands~Malvinas, exploring the remote, bird-filled outer isles and strolling through the quaint British charm of Stanley.

This epic voyage takes you on an incomparable journey, visiting enigmatic Subantarctic islands and the Antarctic Peninsula with additional time in the Falklands~Malvinas in lieu of a day in South Georgia to discover the fascinating history of the islands and to encounter the spectacular birdlife found there.

Over 22 awe-filled days, you’ll trace the paths of legendary explorers across some of the most wildlife-dense, geologically dramatic, and history-rich regions on Earth. You’ll Zodiac into the peninsula’s glittering fjords, stand amid chinstrap and gentoo penguin colonies, and—if you dare—brave a polar plunge in the icy Southern Ocean.

Venturing to South Georgia, you’ll be greeted by a cathedral of mountain peaks and a cacophony of wildlife, from jousting fur seals to vast congregations of king penguins. It’s also here that the spirit of Shackleton lingers—where history and heroism live in every glacier and gravestone. Finally, in the windswept Falklands~Malvinas, you’ll explore uninhabited outer isles teeming with seabirds and land in colorful Stanley, where Victorian charm meets polar grit.

This itinerary is ideal for passionate wildlife lovers, adventurous spirits, and history buffs alike—those yearning for the raw beauty of the poles and the thrill of true exploration. Whether it’s your first time to Antarctica or the capstone to a lifetime of travel, this is a voyage that will leave your soul stirred and your stories unforgettable.
